All right - I admit it, I'm a geek. I just finished re-reading the entire Harry Potter series. I started some time in January, and only just finished (actually just about the same time last year I was finishing the seventh book for the first time).

These books are like a good friend, they're always there for me when I need something to make me feel good. I expect it will be a while before I dust them off again, but I you never know.

neffijer I like this shot...I think that I only read the first 3 or 4, but I know that a whole lot of people enjoy them, and I have other series that I enjoy re-reading nearly every year.

AuroraSky Totally agree with you -- Harry has been my "friend" for years! I re-read the series this spring and it was just as awesome as the first time.

SusieLah I do love the Harry Potter series; I started reading them when the first one came out which was when I was (does maths) 14 (wow that's a long time ago) which justifies me being a fan of them ten years later!
In an extra-nerdy step I've taken to listening to the audiobook versions on long drives, passes the time fantastically!
